How it is calculated

Weighted percentage = high-school percentage × its weight + Qudurat score × its weight + Tahsili score × its weight. Each university sets its own weights per track or college group, and the weights add up to 100%.

Track or college group High-school percentage Qudurat (General Aptitude Test) Tahsili (Achievement Test)
All bachelor and diploma programmes (high-school graduates stream) 30% 30% 40%

Worked example: 95×30% + 85×30% + 80×40% = 86.0

To find the score you need: needed score = (target − the parts you already have) ÷ the remaining test's weight. With the same weights, school 95, Qudurat 85 and a target of 90: (90 − 28.5 − 25.5) ÷ 0.40 = 90 in Tahsili.

What is the weighted percentage (النسبة الموزونة, al-nisba al-mawzoona)?

The weighted percentage is the single score Saudi universities use to rank applicants. It combines your high-school percentage, your Qudurat score and your Tahsili score, each multiplied by the weight the university publishes. The weights differ from one university to another, and sometimes between colleges of the same university.

How is the weighted percentage calculated?

Multiply your high-school percentage, Qudurat score and Tahsili score each by the university's weight, then add the results. Pick your university above to use its published weights.

What weighted percentage do I need for a university?

There is no fixed figure: places are offered by ranking applicants, and the lowest accepted score changes every year. Each university's page shows its published weights and minimums, and the cut-offs page shows what universities have published for past years.
