Has the stipend landed?
We have no confirmed stipend date for this page yet. Pick your university above if it is listed.
- Amount
- 120 OMR
- Conditions
- علاوة النقل والإعاشة (120) ريالاً عمانياً للمستحقين — transport and subsistence allowance for eligible students; first-year male students housed in the university's 'Rahah' residences get housing instead of this allowance. Other items: family-support aid 40 OMR; clinical-phase study allowance for Medicine 60 OMR; limited-income aid 35 OMR.
How it is calculated
When the paying body has announced a date, that date is shown. Otherwise the next occurrence of the monthly pay day in the university's rule is shown and marked as estimated.
Payment can arrive a day or two earlier or later when the day falls on a weekend or a public holiday. The official announcement is what counts.
Worked example
120 + 35 = 155 OMR, if the student qualifies for both items (the guide does not state whether they stack — assumption).
What is the student stipend (المكافأة الجامعية, mukafaa)?
The student stipend is a monthly allowance paid to eligible students at public universities. The amount, the pay day and the conditions for receiving it are set by the university or the state.
