Privacy Notice – Saudi Arabia

You see the notice for the country you are connecting from. Changing the country at the top of the site does not change it.

The short version: your marks never leave your device, there are no accounts, and no ad or visit counter loads before you say yes.

1. Who we are

KamJibt is an independent site run by Patrick Goodman, a private individual. It is not affiliated with any government body, ministry or university. For anything about your data, write to privacy@kamjibt.me.

This notice follows the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree M/19, amended by M/148), its Implementing Regulations and the Regulations on transferring personal data outside the Kingdom.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts, names, ID numbers or phone numbers.
  • No marks, grades or anything else you type into a calculator.
  • No stored IP addresses and no record of who visited.
  • No passwords for Noor, Tawakkalna, UAE PASS or any official system — we never ask for them.

How we collect it: directly from you when you send a form, and automatically from your connection (your IP address tells us your country). We do not get data about you from anyone else.

3. Why, and on what basis

We use data only to run the calculators, pick your country and notice, count visits without identifying anyone, fix mistakes you report, answer your requests and — with your consent — show ads. We do not sell data and we do not use it for anything else.

The legal basis for each purpose is in the last column of the table above.

4. Who receives it

  • Hostinger — the hosting company that runs our server and content delivery network. It stores what reaches us and handles it only for us.
  • Google — advertising (AdSense). It receives data only after you accept ads.

Nobody else. The service we use to draft and check our own texts never receives visitor data.

These are all the recipients. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.

5. Transfers abroad

Our hosting company (Hostinger) and Google may handle the items in the table on servers outside the Kingdom. We send only the minimum each one needs, under the data protection terms each company publishes. Google receives data only if you accept ads.

6. How long we keep it

  • On your device: until you clear your browser data. It is yours to delete at any time.
  • Visit counts: kept as totals; they identify no one.
  • Mistake reports: up to 12 months after the report is closed.
  • Privacy requests: up to 24 months after we answer, as proof that we did.

How it is stored and destroyed: what reaches us is kept in our database at the hosting company, and only the operator can open it. When the period ends the record is deleted from the database for good.

7. Your rights and how to use them

You have the right to:

  • know what we collect and why — this notice
  • see the data we hold about you and get a copy
  • have wrong or incomplete data corrected
  • have your data deleted
  • withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it

Most of your data is on your own device, where you control it. For anything that reached us, use the request form — it is free.

We answer within 30 days. If a request is unusually hard we may take up to 30 more days, and we will tell you why before the first 30 days end.

8. Children and guardians

If you are a student: you can use every calculator without telling us your name or anything about you. Your marks stay on your phone. Before you accept ads or send us a message, ask your parent or guardian. If you are a guardian: you may act for your child, or for anyone who lacks legal capacity — ask what we hold, have it corrected or have it deleted — using the request form below.

9. Cookies and ads

We set two cookies, both only to remember your choice: your country and your language. Everything else is kept in your browser's storage and is not sent to us. Ad cookies come from Google and only after you accept ads. Ads never sit next to the Calculate button or your result, and there are at most three on a page.

Ads appear only after you accept them. Personalised ads need your explicit consent, and on high-school pages ads are never personalised. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the link at the bottom of every page.

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal and do not ask.

10. Complaints

Write to us first and we will try to fix it. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to SDAIA.

Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA)

11. Changes and version date

If we change this notice we change the date below, and the consent box asks you again.
