Privacy Notice – Qatar
You see the notice for the country you are connecting from. Changing the country at the top of the site does not change it.

The short version: your marks never leave your device, there are no accounts, and no ad or visit counter loads before you say yes.
1. Children and guardians
What we collect from children: no name, no account, no marks — marks stay on the phone. The only things that can reach us are a mistake report or a privacy request, if someone sends one. Guardian's consent: a child must not accept ads or visit counting, or send us a form, without the explicit consent of a parent or guardian. Guardian's access: a parent or guardian may ask us what we hold about their child, and have it corrected or deleted, using the request form below.
2. Who we are
KamJibt is an independent site run by Patrick Goodman, a private individual. It is not affiliated with any government body, ministry or university. For anything about your data, write to privacy@kamjibt.me.
This notice follows Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on Personal Data Privacy Protection.
3. What we collect and what we don't
| Data | Where it is | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marks, GPA inputs, children's nicknames, your role and region | On your device only. We never receive it. | The calculators and the family board | None needed: it never reaches us |
| Your IP address, turned into a two-letter country | Read when the page asks where you are; not stored | Choosing your default country and this notice | Our legitimate interest in showing the right page |
| Your country and language choice | On your device (one cookie each, and browser storage) | Remembering your preference | You asked for it by choosing |
| Your consent choice, its date and the notice version | On your device | Proof of what you chose | Needed to respect your choice |
| Visit counts: event, country, page and day | Our server, with nothing that identifies you | Knowing which calculators are used | Your consent |
| A mistake report: page address, rule and your text | Our server | Fixing the mistake | Your consent, by sending it |
| A privacy request: your email and your message | Our server | Answering your request | Our legal duty to answer you |
| Advertising identifiers | Google, only after you accept ads | Showing ads that pay for the site | Your consent |
What we do not collect
- No accounts, names, ID numbers or phone numbers.
- No marks, grades or anything else you type into a calculator.
- No stored IP addresses and no record of who visited.
- No passwords for Noor, Tawakkalna, UAE PASS or any official system — we never ask for them.
4. Why, and on what basis
We use data only to run the calculators, pick your country and notice, count visits without identifying anyone, fix mistakes you report, answer your requests and — with your consent — show ads. We do not sell data and we do not use it for anything else.
5. Who receives it
- Hostinger — the hosting company that runs our server and content delivery network. It stores what reaches us and handles it only for us.
- Google — advertising (AdSense). It receives data only after you accept ads.
Nobody else. The service we use to draft and check our own texts never receives visitor data.
How much each one sees: the hosting company stores what reaches us; Google sees only ad data, and only after you accept; nothing is published.
6. Transfers abroad
Hostinger and Google may handle the items in the table on servers outside Qatar. Google receives data only if you accept ads.
7. How long we keep it
- On your device: until you clear your browser data. It is yours to delete at any time.
- Visit counts: kept as totals; they identify no one.
- Mistake reports: up to 12 months after the report is closed.
- Privacy requests: up to 24 months after we answer, as proof that we did.
8. Your rights and how to use them
You have the right to:
- withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
- object to how we use your data
- have your data deleted
- have wrong or incomplete data corrected
- see the data we hold about you and get a copy
Most of your data is on your own device, where you control it. For anything that reached us, use the request form — it is free.
We answer within 30 days.
10. Complaints
Write to us first and we will try to fix it. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the NCGAA at the National Cyber Security Agency.
National Cyber Governance and Assurance Affairs (NCGAA) at the National Cyber Security Agency
11. Changes and version date
If we change this notice we change the date below, and the consent box asks you again.
