Target GPA Calculator – How to Raise Your GPA
Set the GPA you want and see what you need this term to reach it.
Term GPA you need
How it is calculated
The target GPA is multiplied by your total hours after this term. Your current GPA multiplied by the hours already earned is subtracted, and the remainder is divided by this term's hours.
If the answer is above the top of the scale, the target cannot be reached in one term. The page then shows the best cumulative GPA a perfect term would give.
Worked example
Cumulative GPA 3.80 over 60 hours, 15 hours this term, target 4.00: (4.00 × 75 − 3.80 × 60) ÷ 15 = (300 − 228) ÷ 15 = 4.80. With 3.00 over 100 hours the same target would need 10.67, which is above 5.00 — the best reachable cumulative GPA is 3.26.
What is a target GPA (رفع المعدل)?
A target GPA is the cumulative average you want to reach. This page works backwards from it: given your current GPA and the hours you have completed, it shows the semester GPA you need this term — and tells you when the target cannot be reached in one term.

How can I raise my GPA?
Your cumulative GPA rises when this term's GPA is higher than it, and the more credit hours you have completed, the higher a term GPA you need to move it. Enter your GPA, your hours and your target above; the calculator shows what you need this term, or tells you the target cannot be reached in one term.
