Retake Simulator – Bahrain
Try retaking courses and see your new average and the scholarship tier it reaches.
Official retake rule: Grade 12 (level 3) students in government secondary schools may register to improve their cumulative average by retaking level-1 (Grade 10) courses.
Limits: Not published on the Ministry page: number of courses allowed, eligibility, and whether the higher or the latest mark counts.
How it is calculated
Average = sum of (each course's mark × its credits) ÷ total credits. We work it out once with your current marks and once with the expected mark in place of each course you retake, then compare both with the published scholarship tiers.
We assume the new mark replaces the old one. Check the official retake rule before you rely on this result.
| Tier | Minimum | What you get | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| CPISP candidacy | 97% | Invitation to qualifying assessments (English and critical reasoning); at least 100 candidates chosen, then training and final selection | www.cpisp.bh |
| Scholarship | 95% | May register for a Ministry scholarship (registration 5–9 July 2026) | www.alayam.com Reported by the press — official document not found |
| Grant | 90% | Candidate for a Ministry grant; procedures completed later, alongside the scholarship results | www.alayam.com Reported by the press — official document not found |
Worked example: Three courses worth 4, 4 and 2 credits with marks of 60, 90 and 75: average (240 + 360 + 150) ÷ 10 = 75. Retake the first and get 90, and it becomes (360 + 360 + 150) ÷ 10 = 87.
What is retaking a course (إعادة المقررات)?
Retaking a course means studying and sitting it again to improve your mark. This page shows what your cumulative average would become with the new marks, and which scholarship tier that average reaches.
